The Last two years have seen a lot happening ‘To’ and ‘With’ education. The teachers faced an unexpected shift from real classrooms to virtual ones. At the same time the NEP brought a paradigm shift in the Purpose and Pedagogy of teaching our learners, leaving our teachers grasping for any support they could find.
Until 2020, that is before Corona, a teacher's routine looked completely different and from that year on, demands on skills that a teacher should possess took an unexpected turn. Like many other peers, I was confused, unsure and felt the need to upgrade my skills.
Until then, professional development was way below on my priority list. It was around that time that Sudha mam added me to a WhatsApp group called the Teacher Magi.
I got to meet teachers from across India, we had the best of resources for free. Webinars and workshops are organised at such pocket friendly prices and I could attend them sitting at home.
Teacher workshops on using stories as pedagogy, using theatre in the language classroom, effective classroom management are some of the sessions I benefitted from. I am happy to be part of the large network of teachers and I learn and grow each day with Teacher Magi.

I decided to get certified as a 'Trainer' & 'Mentor'. I began conducting training programmes for teachers and students as a freelancer.
It was during this journey, that I happened to get introduced to Sudha ma’am through one of our common friends. I didn’t waste time and joined the group. The group is very vibrant and consists of teachers/learners/experts from across the country under the mentorship of Sudha ma’am who is a person with rich knowledge and experience.
Having attended several training workshops conducted by experts from various fields, I am looking forward to many more because of the thrust on the quality of content delivered. Thank you, Sudha ma'am, for such a self-less initiative. My best wishes to the entire team.

At such a time Teacher Magi stepped in as a committed and dependable support for the teachers, especially in comprehending the needs projected in NEP and the new pedagogies suggested therein.
